Art Exhibit: Beverly Fuller

  • Snow Library 67 Main Street Orleans, MA United States (map)

Colored pencil works by Beverly Fuller will be displayed in the Craine Gallery in her exhibition, The Fine Art of Colored Pencil. The works will be on display through the month of November. A reception to meet the artist will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All are welcome.

Beverly grew up in Derry, New Hampshire and graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1967. She took art classes in school and during the summer at the Currier Gallery in Manchester, NH. She moved to Boston and attended night classes at Vesper George School of Art. Eventually, she moved to Chatham and operated an antique store. She lives with her husband Jon in East Orleans, MA. She has worked in acrylics, pen and ink, and oil stick. It wasn’t until 2001, under the tutelage of the late Richard Kenerson at the Academy School in Orleans, that she developed her skills with colored pencil. She enjoys the precise detail that can be achieved with pencils. She specializes in landscapes and paints local scenes as well as those from her trips to Europe and Iceland. Beverly is a member of the Cape Cod Art Association, Cotuit Center for the Arts, and the Colored Pencil Society of America.
