/Use the forms in this section to reserve a meeting room, apply for exhibit space in the Craine Gallery or book the front lobby display case. Policies governing the use of library spaces may be found on our Mission Statement & Policies page.
Click on the blue buttons to find downloadable application forms. Return completed forms to the circulation desk, to the attention of the library director or assistant director. You may also mail applications to Snow Library, 67 Main St., Orleans, MA 02653, or scan and attach them in an e-mail to the library director or assistant director.
The Marion Craine Room is intended to provide a meeting place for the library and related organizations, but also for non-profit, non-sectarian organizations in Orleans with cultural or civic purposes and town committees, commissions and boards, when space is not available in Town Hall or other regular meeting places.
The Cape Cod Room contains the library literature’s collection and may provide meeting space for book discussion groups which are open to the public.
The Marion Craine Gallery is available for one-month exhibitions by individuals or small groups. Applications are subject to review by the Marion Craine Gallery Committee. Learn more about the gallery in Exhibits. Read the guidelines for exhibitors here.
In order to fulfill its mission of sustaining and energizing the intellectual, cultural, and social life of the community of Orleans by encouraging the love of reading and the pursuit of knowledge, the library’s meeting room Craine Gallery may be used by authors who wish to do readings and make their books available for purchase.
The library display case is available to organizations and individuals engaged in educational, cultural, intellectual or charitable activities of interest to the Orleans community. Proposed exhibits must be within the public interest and consistent with the role of Snow Library. The display case is not available for any political or religious displays.
