The Friends of Snow Library are a non-profit 501c(3) organization whose mission is to support the Snow Library, its trustees and staff with programs, activities, books and equipment not provided by town appropriations. The Friends provides a cultural bond with the citizens and visitors of Orleans through programs like Lifetime Learning, Book and Author Luncheons and many others.

The Friends is the fundraising arm of Snow Library. Money is raised through membership, book sales, Lifetime Learning and fundraising events. These funds assist with technical upgrades and allow for the depth and breadth of a collection unusual for a library of its size.
