Abstract oil paintings by Christine Fitzsimmons will be displayed in the Marion Craine Gallery through December in her exhibition, What Is It? An Exploration of Abstract Art. A reception to meet the artist will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All are welcome.

Christine’s paintings portray a sensitivity to light, color and composition, capturing energy and emotion, rather than reality. Limited only by your imagination, the artist invites you to view the paintings and ask “How does it make me feel?” rather than “What is it?”
