The author of an inspiring tale of compassion and heroism about saving animals in need during Hurricane Katrina, Chris McLaughlin, will be speaking about her book Mississippi Barking at Snow Library. McLaughlin tells the moving stories of the people she met after the disaster, both those who lost everything to the hurricane and those working beside her rescuing and transporting animals away from the neglected, derelict conditions in which they barely survived. Presented by the Snow Library. All are welcome.
