Come to the Craine Room for a talk with local author Janis Daly, who recently released her book, The Path Beneath Her Feet. Janis will read excerpts from her book and share how and why she came to write historical fiction with the launch of her debut novel and its sequel. She will also discuss the popularity of the historical fiction genre among readers and the reasons for it.
As the sequel to The Unlocked Path, this latest book continues the story of Dr. Eliza Edwards’ commitment to limit suffering and save lives amid the tumultuous landscapes of 1930s and 1940s America. Heavily researched down to the minute historical details, The Path Beneath Her Feet is just as charged and enticing as its predecessor.
Copies will be available for sale and signing after the talk. Admission is free and all are welcome. Sponsored by the Rowena Myers Trust.
