Join the First Tuesday Book Club for a discussion of “The White Darkness,” by David Grann. It chronicles the story of Henry Worsley, a British special forces officer who was obsessed with the adventures of Ernest Shackleton and the exploration of Antarctica.
The book club meets at 3 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month. Our monthly book selections alternate between fiction and non-fiction, with library director Tavi Prugno leading non-fiction discussions and assistant director Kaimi Lum leading fiction. Copies of upcoming titles are available by request at the front desk. New members are always welcome.
