Cape Symphony Presents: On the Road with Summer Camargo

Come to the Craine Room on Monday, July 24 at 1 p.m. for “On the Road with Summer Camargo,” presented by Cape Symphony. Summer Camargo, 21, a trumpet student at The Juilliard School and Jerome Greene Fellowship recipient, is entering her fifth year of college majoring in Jazz Studies. Summer, born and raised in Hollywood, Florida, most recently joined Lenny Pickett and The Saturday Night Live House Band on NBC and has recorded her debut album set to release in Winter 2024 under Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Blue Engine. She is joined by pianist Esteban Castro, bassist Raul Reyes Bueno, drummer John Sturino, saxophonist Chris Lewis, and trombonist Jeffrey Miller.

“On the Road with Summer Camargo” is hosted by Cape Symphony Presents, a new event promoting arm of Cape Symphony that provides opportunities to artists by welcoming them through performances to the community of Cape Cod and the Islands. 

Seating is limited; admission is free. Presented by Snow Library and sponsored by the Rowena Myers Trust.
