Juxtaposition: Science, Poetry & Breathing, Part 2

  • Snow Library 67 Main Street Orleans, MA United States (map)

When we compare and contrast the ideas of physicists like Ervin Laszlo and David Bohm to the poetry of David Whyte or Mary Oliver, this exercise of placing two or more constructs side by side can yield interesting insights. With Kathie Dowd Gulotta, a yoga teacher and massage therapist, this class will investigate those insights, as well as review new research on implicit bias by Dr. Richard Davidson, and practice four different beneficial breathing techniques that can help raise energy.
