Lecture: Historic Storms of Cape Cod

Join us in the Craine Room for a lecture on the historic storms that have affected Cape Cod. The lecture will be led by author Don Wilding, who recently released his book, Historic Storms of Cape Cod.

Throughout its history, Cape Cod has been victim to storms and hurricanes of varying strengths throughout the year. Major storms on Cape Cod have brought strong winds, extreme tides, enormous waves, and various other weather conditions. Communities of the Cape have faced injury, destruction, and death in the path of these meteorological events. Don will walk the audience through these storms and the impacts they have made on the Cape and its inhabitants.

Copies will be available for sale and signing after the talk. Admission is free and all are welcome.
