In this class, Amy Sanders, a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and Volunteer Coordinator at Wild Care, Inc. will present fascinating facts and behaviors of native wildlife. Amy will relay intimate stories of the plights and predicaments of animals brought to Wild Care. Students will meet Wild Care’s Animal Ambassadors: a lovely Eastern screech owl, and Garv, their Eastern box turtle. Learn about these species, how to best co-exist with these “wild neighbors,” and what to do upon finding an animal in distress. Students will leave with a better understanding of how they can make a difference through helping wildlife.
