All wars come to an end, and most of them end with a negotiated settlement. The Ukraine War is unlikely to be an exception. What is known about international negotiations, which might give us a sense of how the two sides could achieve a settlement? What problems specific to this war are likely to make doing so especially difficult? How could those problems be overcome? In this Zoom-only course, political science professor Russ Leng will examine these questions in an attempt to provide a glimpse of what to expect, if and when negotiations begin.
