Steve and Jeff Bornemeier return to Lifetime Learning with another iteration of their popular Novels & Ideas course. The focus of this four-part course will be the subject of wit and how it is presented in various novels. Steve and Jeff will moderate each class and encourage students to read, think, listen, and discuss. The first class will center around The Man Who Was Thursday: A Nightmare (1908) by G.K. Chesterton.

Subsequent classes will focus on the following novels:
10/9: The Code of the Woosters (1938) by P.G. Wodehouse
11/6: Excellent Women (1952) by Barbara Pym
11/20: Wise Children (1991) by Angela Carter
