In this class taught by Dr. Laurel Schaider, Senior Scientist at Silent Spring Institute, we will delve into the topic of PFAS. Dr. Schaider will explain the origin, history and regulation of PFAS, a group of contaminants that are ubiquitous in the environment, including on Cape Cod. She will review sources of exposure and health effects, both known and under study, and ways to protect yourself and your family.
