John Whelan, former host of ‘Oldies’ Rock ‘n’ Roll program on WOMR, covers the careers of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II in this three-part course. The following musicals will be discussed while some of their songs are also enjoyed: Oklahoma, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I, Flower Drum Song and The Sound of Music.
