Lifetime Learning: Souls of Black Folk - Changing the Narrative

This course will focus on current issues such as the debate over Critical Race Theory, the origins of the Black Lives Matter movement, and the work being done in Georgia by Stacey Abrams. We will begin by discussing Carol Anderson’s book White Rage. Works by Derrick Bell, Sherrilyn A. Ifall, bell hooks, Stacey Abrams and others will be highlighted.
