In this three-part course, John Wheelan, Peter Gaines, and Denise Page will explore the art of the duet. Writing a good duet is a challenge for the songwriter, as is creating a proper arrangement for a duet. Some fine singers were never able to deliver a good duet, while a few singers handled duets with skill and ease. John, an author and former WOMR radio host, will use short films and audio clips to illustrate the art of the duet. Peter will play the piano and join Denise as they sing live versions of some favorite duets throughout the years.
