Lifetime Learning: The Joy of Looking at Things

  • Snow Library 67 Main Street Orleans, MA United States (map)

In this class taught by Richard Ogden Perry, we will explore how all our senses meet in our brain to perceive art, why each of us looks at art differently, and how art has taught us new ways to see.

Richard, a visual artist with exhibits at the Boston Museum of Science and Cape Cod Museum of Art will show some of his recent watercolors, explain them and the concept of avatars in art, and show and discuss watercolors of selected famous and local artists of similar sensibility. You may have seen Richard’s works at the Brewster Ladies Library, where some of his Covid-era watercolors were on display through the month of October.
