This two-part course begins with a whirlwind tour of the latest terms and concepts in transgender identity. The first class will center on potentially harmful and politicized misconceptions involving medical care for transgender youth, the use of public and school-based facilities based on gender identity, and the controversies surrounding trans athletes. Led by Dr. Maureen Osborne, a clinical psychologist with 30-plus years as a gender therapist for transgender people & their families.
