The third class in this four-part course taught by Mary Ann Eaton will continue to examine the life and works of Oscar Wilde. More than a successful Irish playwright, Oscar Wilde wrote short stories for both adults and children, a popular yet shocking novel, poems and essays. We’ll delve into some of his most brilliant works and his fascinating life with the help of the book, The Complete Works of Oscar Wilde. This class will be focused on the film A Woman of No Importance. The last class on November 15 will focus on Wilde’s De Profundis, unabridged letter and “Dear Bosie”.
