The final class in Mary Ann Eaton’s course will continue to examine the life and works of Oscar Wilde. More than a successful Irish playwright, Oscar Wilde wrote short stories for both adults and children, a popular yet shocking novel, poems, and essays. We’ll delve into some of his most brilliant works and his fascinating life with the help of the book, The Complete Works of Oscar Wilde. This class will focus on Wilde’s “Bosie” letter, “De Profundis.”
