Spring Concert Series: All Worn Out Jug Band

  • Snow Library 67 Main Street Orleans, MA United States (map)

It’s time to break out your dancing shoes again for when All Worn Out Jug Band plays the Snow Library. Founded in Chatham, Massachusetts in 1999, the AWOJB is a post-revival roots music band, performing traditional standards from the Kweskin/Even Dozen/Memphis Jug Bands’ songbook, seasoned with old country, folk, gospel and blues, with a full complement of strings, a washtub or doghouse bass, washboard, kazoos, whistles, and of course, a jug! The current lineup includes Gregory Baird, Kevin Howard, John Kilroy, Mary Loebig, and Edmund Robinson. The concert is part of the Snow Library’s spring music series, sponsored by the Rowena Myers Trust, featuring a different performer every Wednesday through June 14. Seating is first-come, first-served, but admission is free! The library is located at 67 Main Street in Orleans.
