In this final class, Stephen Munroe, Professor Emeritus of Biological Sciences at Marquette University, will end his examination of the history of Earth by looking at the past and present challenges that accompany an evolving biosphere. The class will end with a discussion of the geological record of mass extinctions and its implications for understanding the impact of humans on Earth’s environment today.
