Come and meet Kim Newman, Orleans' new town manager, from 5 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16, at a reception held by the Friends of Snow Library and the Board of Library Trustees. The gathering will take place during the town's annual block party on the village green outside the library at 67 Main Street. All are welcome.
